Never seen The Conjuring, Annabelle has done good business Stateside at the cinema.

A lot of people seemed to rave about The Conjuring and with Annabelle being a direct prequel it's no surprise it's doing well.

Hype can often kill a film though and no film (at least in my experience) is ever worthy of the hype that precedes it.
