That's really surprising I would of expected it to be the other way round with the amount of hate the Lost Boys generates here

I'm 100% sure with more people taking part it would be a much closer result.

No doubt, plus longer lists would have helped too. An interesting and successful first attempt at doing this though, and let's hope we can continue the tradition next year.

It made the build up to Halloween even more exciting than normal revisiting some films I had not seen in a long time when constructing my list and adding some titles to hunt down that I had not seen before from other peoples lists.

I didn't want to comment until the list was done... well we all have simply great taste in films as a given(now proven), even Lost Boys(you really needed to see it on first release in a cinema to see it at it's best) which hasn't aged well at all kinda belongs in the list(maybe not in the top 100 tho) and like just about everyone else I had many a Homer Simpson "Doh!" moment reading others lists and realizing how many great flicks I simply left out.
What's more gratifying is I've seen 100% of the top 100.

And of course a big thank you to B.E. for all the work.

Me too - in fact you posting that plato reminds me that I was going to ask here for curiosities sake, how many of the entrants have watched all of the Top 100.

Perhaps with people 'filling in the gaps', we may see some shifts in the rankings if we do end up doing it again next year.
