I haven't seen those but, as I've said before, the more gialli, the better!

Not seen the Bava film but I have got Raro's old Italian DVD of MURDER OBSESSION and it's not very good - I'm hoping this new edition with have a new transfer.

I assume you mean the Murder Obsession disc is no good, not the film.

If that's the case, is the film a good giallo?

I meant both - the film and the transfer. There is a decent English subtitled interview with Sergio Stivaletti and booklet with english text.

That's a shame. Even so, I might buy it to make up my own mind.

Got that one. I managed to pick it up at Frightfest this year for a tenner, which I thought was pretty good (it's nice when The Cinema Store haggle a bit). What an amazing film (I included it in my fave non-horror films of the 70s).

There's an interesting documentary on the disc with a Deodato and some of the cast.

I'd consider it to be a great transfer and it looks brilliant. Essential purchase in my books.

I'm not keen on Murder Obsession either, it's a bit of a mess IMO
