Last I heard, Grapes of Death was with Synapse, but their license may well have expired by now. No idea if it's now with Redemption or not.

Grapes of Death is also my favourite Rollin film, but like Daemonia, I'm pretty sure Synapse still hold the rights to this one.

Rollin's films are usually an acquired taste (I personally love them!), and Grapes is probably his most accessible film.

The Living Dead Girl is my personal favourite. It has a haunting quality to it and is quite sad. Brilliantly atmospheric and wonderfully shot - with some nasty violence and gore thrown in for good measure. I hope this one gets a BD release!

'GRAPES' is now with Redemption but the release was delayed for reason.

Me too. It's one of my favourites too (probably my second favourite after Grapes :D).

Odd that it was delayed.

Plus, typical of Redemption, the cover leaves a lot to be desired!

Why can't they do double-sided covers?

Tbh i can't imagine these titles selling well enough in the U.K. to justify the expense of issuing the films in HD on British shores.
Personally, i wouldn't touch any Rollin release on BR no matter how improved the PQ is and the same goes for Jess Franco’s output bar Faceless. Not my bloodstained bag i'm afraid but each to their own.

Surely it must be only the Rollin and Franco titles that keep Nigel Wingrove's company going as Redemption don't seem to dabble in much else now unlike the label's VHS heyday when the selection of viewing material was somewhat broader imo. That said, i'd be up for Killers Moon and Schizo on BR.

Give ‘em a while and the relevant Rollin Redemption HD editions will probably end up being included as cover mounts on issues of DVD And Blu-Ray World or The Dark Side sooner or later!
