A fine, fine British Horror movie with a strange doomed atmosphere.

Another absolute classic and would easily agree that the final ventriloquist dummy section is the crowning glory of the film. Tall Dude is spot on about the humourous segment, it dosn't sit well with the film as a whole at all, although as a self contained little story it is enjoyable in itself. I'm guessing it was the first British horror compendium film? I certainly can't think of an earlier one. |

I love the golfing story! Wayne and Radford are superb!

I find it rather charming too. Though I'd say that the odd segment about the Children's Games is my favourite.

I don't dislike it, but for me it makes the film lose the tension that has been building up and it has to start again. Wayne and Radford are confirmed favourites of mine and they play off each other marvellously - it would have made a great final chapter to their Charters and Caldicott films!

I agree with you there. The Michael Redgrave segment is superb though.

My Blu Ray of this arrived earlier this week. Tomorrow afternoon's viewing sorted then.
