Quite right too.

I did notice from reading the Classic Rock supplement on Maiden tour brochures that they played Bradford St Georges Hall on the Killer World Tour, Beast on the Road, and Somewhere on Tour, tours.

I remember running around my mates kitchen air guitaring (to Dave's parts) like a maniac when this was on, I think I was 15, old enough to know better

The good old days of Donnington being on Radio One :D

That Classic Rock supplement is in the current issue, I'm pretty sure of it.

Yeah that’s right, I know a guy from the pub that went to all 3 of them

As Justin said, it's the current issue.

I posted a photo elsewhere of the mags contents as it was issue 250 and came with numerous items but i noticed the other day the cover price is £7.99 which i really think is extortionate.

I subscribe so pay about £4.00 an issue rather than the usual £5.49.

Okay, cheers all.

I must have missed that post somehow. I'll have a look for the mag today.

They were also there on the Iron Maiden 1980 tour and the World Piece Tour in '83

That means they played the city five times over the course of the first six albums. I wonder why they didn't stop there during the World Slavery tour in '84?

It’s only a small venue so the whole World Slavery Tour set up wouldn’t have fit probably

Did they play there with Blaze?

I saw them on a No Prayer on the Road date at Preston Guild Hall. That was practically a large club size venue. If i recall Steve said at the time there was no way they could better the Seventh Son tour in terms of spectacle so decided to go back to the 'clubs' instead.
