Their next album could well be more metal orientated. Besides they weren't exactly Doom Metal on their first album. I suppose a bit of early Candlemass did shine through but three quarters of the songs were still pop metal.
I take it the vocalist is the same person right ?

It is yes, just a different persona which leads to a different sound. It’s quite interesting that they have this lore within the band’s history. The current one isn’t for me but I have liked all of the others.

Basically the latest album Impera is a stadium rock album for the 2020's. And it's brilliant.

It is a puzzler. My take on it is that there's no filler whatsoever. It's as near a perfect record as you'll get nowadays.
