Cups (When I'm Gone) I love this song and don't mind it giving me an earworm! I've watched several different versions a few times, plus others that I'm not going to post in this message, but they include Anna Kendrick performing it on David Letterman and the previous versions by The Carter Family and Lula and the Lampshades. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XOR3k-wa4k http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmSbXsFE3l8 |

Great selection, Dem. Going from Behemoth to Frank Sinatra is quite a musical journey, as is going from Dido to N.W.A and on to Type O Negative. It's an eclectic playlist  This is probably my favourite song from the first album I listened to today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-iepu3EtyE System of a Down: Toxicity (2001) |
Aerials has always been my favourite System of a Down song. I was delighted it was part of the set the one time i saw them live. |
My favourite song from today's first album is one that has changed since Taylor Hawkins' sad death, but it's still a great performance of a superb song, and I love it because it brought him and millions of others so much joy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hu1IMp0-yY Foo Fighters - Skin and Bones (2005) |

Black Sabbath - Headless Cross (Official HD Video) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VwEWf3RXseg Headless Cross (1989) New remaster (2024) Despite the genius of the Ozzy and Dio years this is one of my top five Black Sabbath songs of all time. It may not be doom laden but it is a great example of classic metal. And Tony Martin? What a voice! I hope the new release is worth buying. |
