They very much sound like their own cover band: still pretty good, but there's no magic! It was pretty similar with Cream's reunion, which was also big disappointment.

Just got back from seeing Django Unchained at the cinema and now I'm in a spaghetti western kind of mood so I pulled out my soundtracks.

Have just heard / seen the new David Bowie single. It's a good ballad, if a wee bit depressing but then most are I suppose :D

I look forward to the album.

Is the Kylie album any good? Really want to hear the re-recorded Where The Wild Roses Grow.

Most people detest "The Spaghetti Incident". What do you make of it, Dem?

Greetings!

All the tracks are stripped down reworked versions and all have a new dimension to them. For example Can't Get you out of my Head replaces the main keyboard riff with a great new string arrangement.

As for Where the Wild Roses Grow?

It seems even more haunting than ever before, the arrangement is a little sparser, just a lilting guitar and drum. Nick Cave's new vocal is perhaps more poignant than before and both he and Kylie sing it beautifully.

If like me, you like some of her stuff but feel most is to poppy, i recommend it to you especially as its now only £4.49 on Amazon. The Abbey Road Sessions: Amazon.co.uk: Music
