They were the last band i saw live. At Manchester Academy. I was so close i could almost touch them.

Better then Nightwish in my opinion. The Nightwish of 2017 that is.

It amuses me how they play arenas throughout Europe and then have to play shitty Birmingham Academy in the UK.

The majority of music listeners in this country are friggin' clueless.

The Amsterdam concert sold out in 2hrs this morning, I just bought a Manc Apollo one with no issues 6hrs after the announcement  It's the same with Nightwish as well, they do Stadium shows in Scandinavia and Manchester Academy on their last UK tour.

I'm mostly looking forward to seeing Sharon in the flesh, she's one of the most beautiful metal singers out there today. The new album they're working on had better be good

mmm depends (ive no idea of iBrmingham academy )
vast majority of people i know who go to lots of gigs groups etc would rather prefer the smaller venue because most arena are for capacity and not sound,
ive seen some groups in arena and come away dissapointed, smaller venue are for sound and not capacity and you can get better feel of the music and the group/ band a bloke at work refuses to go a arena to see a group and will only go see them at smaller venue even if it involves travelling .

I think what Dem means is that these bands, Nightwish and Within Temptation, to name a few are 'Top 10' bands in mainland Europe and when they release singles they're in the charts and the bands are a big deal, but in the UK they aren't, and we have the likes of Ed Sheeran at Number 1 for weeks and selling out multiple nights at Manchester Arena etc, I couldn't name you a single Ed Sheeran song but I could sing you all of the Within Temptation catalogue
