A few choice cuts from The Cure i'm most fond of.

The babe featured in the vintage video for CS looks like a young Natalie J. Robb from Take The High Road and Emmerdale imo.

This rock classic will always be associated with Demons 2 as far as i'm concerned.

Mojo and Make Them Die Slowly like this.

Sorry, but drum machines and synths are NOT ZZTop

Incidentally, when the 'Eliminator' album was released, I remember the readers poll in 'Smash Hits' magazine had them voted as the best NEW band

How I laughed!!!!!

I gave you a like, because that's exactly what I used to think for at least a decade (I first listened to ZZ Top when I was about nine or ten years old - my uncle had bought me the Sixpack CD box for Christmas).

However - over the years I warmed up to the albums of their synthesizer/drum machine period (Eliminator, Afterburner, Recycler). They have never been real favourites of mine, but they are pretty decent and there are quite a few catchy tunes on them.

But, of course, you're right - ZZ Top, that's rough and loud Blues Rock. Period. Give me Fandango! any day!

Greetings!
