Thanks, Crimson. I've highlighted the ones i don't have. I'll pick up Strange Awakening in this sale, the rest i'll keep an eye out for.

Just so you don't think i'm talking out of my arse, here's my thin case collection so far. (Minus one or two that haven't been watched yet)

I ended buying a bunch of stuff too from this new sale. Even though I shouldn't have... but they were almost free!

Just realised that I didn't get an confirmation email from them, just the paypal message. I can see the order on the site though, so I guess it's alright? Ordered last night.

I find their email response to be very hit and miss. You should get a message thanking you for the order then a payment message. It's lucky if i get both. No idea why.

Ordered fae new Bonkers ...

Arthur C Clarke's World of Strange Powers (xmas present)
Strange Awakening
Sewers Of Gold (1979)

£7!

I got one now, about a day after ordering.

Great stuff, you're building a nice collection there.

The covers with their original poster art look terrific set out like that don't they.

Crimson,

Do you recommend Wrong Number, All Neat in Black Stockings, The Franchise Affair, Violent Moment, Johnny You're Wanted, Bang Your Dead and A Man About the House?

Crimson Blade 22nd September 2018 08:30 PM

I recommend them all, Dem.

I can honestly say that i haven't had a bad one yet since i started buying them just over a year ago.
And great value as well at the price.

Still need to pick up that Twinky film starring Charles Bronson and Susan George. Not in the sale but still a bargain.

Yes i think once you get the right mind set for them the majority are good. The only one i didn't like and is in my cex pile is SPYS. A 70's film starring Donald Sutherland and Elliott Gould. The only one of The British Film collection that did nothing whatsoever for me.

Twinky is in a normal size case it's not part of the collection.

You're missing several decent horror films, Crimson.

Cat Girl, Catacombs, Link, The Headless Ghost (comedy horror), Horrors of the Black Museum, The House in Nightmare Park, The Night Has Eyes, The Terror and sci-fi thrillers Unearthly Stranger and Invasion.
