Is the Norman J Warren Bloody Terror box set worth getting? Is the book good?

I saw one in CEX today, looked mint condition for £35.

I'm answering my own question here i guess but getting the individual discs at £12 each would cost £50....

I think i'll pop back tomorrow and use up my vouchers.

For me, it’s a no brainier. It’s a fantastic boxset.

I've only watched the first 2 so far, proper Sunday afternoon adventure movies with some dubious Asian stereotypes :lol: I really enjoyed them so far. They're kind of Sherlock Holmes meets James Bond and a dash of Batman the TV series :D

As for the Warren films, they'll eventually pop up in the 3 for £30 range, along with 'The Damned' which I'm also waiting to pick up :D

It's £1.50 for a single disc, I don't know how it scales, it'll still be cheaper than Amazon most likely and HMV no longer stocks them...

Same as Classic Films Direct. I always wait for sales from them.

Apparently Bloody New Year doesn't look great at all if reviewers are to be trusted. But i'd quite like that to watch on New Years Eve.

PREY is a classic of low budget film making.

The poorest in the set is Bloody New Year,but is still enjoyable.

£35? worth every penny.

I kept my boxset AND bought the Amaray eds.;)

Satan's Slave and Inseminoid are great. Prey is just crap and I can't remember much about Terror. Not seen Bloody New Year.
