I know, especially when you take into account to he amount of time you need to leave when ordering from the US.

In all fairness, I've ordered stacks of stuff direct from Bill at Code Red and have never had a problem.

I think people will be fine as well. Although i've never ordered from CR i've ordered plenty of stuff from the US and never had a problem. Its always with UK items that things go missing.

It is something to think about when paying £25 for a single film though.

I am going to "assume" the same that it is Out today.

most companys don't charge until the Item is shipped I will again "Assume" this is the case again,so that the Paypal coverage starts that day, whether it is today or not.

For The Most part I imagine the Item will arrive within 32 days, which is usually the average, which allows nearly 2 weeks to investigate it's whereabouts,or If Broken where you stand.

I highly recommend people do this: "ask in advance for us to open the dvd/blu to secure the disc".
I always do this since Bill asked to mention this some time ago.
Include it in a note with your paypal payment. ;)

According to Bill he ordered region free bd's,we'll have to wait for confirmation to be 100% certain though.

All his talk has made me paranoid, especially with the amount I will be paying, an extra $17 for shipping to Australia!

I'll wait until I have a confirmed arrival of at least one disk, then order, so I can assure that the 45 days with Paypal won't be wasted waiting for a preorder or for him to ship it.

But I am definitely ordering these at some point. If the first two are painless, no shipping problems, no disc problems, I'll happily order his other blu rays when they come out, can never get enough obscure 80's horror on blu ray.

I've ordered from Code Red a fair few times and can say I've never had a single problem. In fact in the last 12 years or so I have never had anything go missing, taken a long time sometimes, but never not arrived.
That's put a curse on it!!:)
Maybe a better bet for the paranoid is to wait and see if Diabolik get hold of a few copies, I think my last order of 3 blus and a DVD came to $10.00 postage, I guess you'll pay the same for 1 as you would for 4/5.
I know Bill's attitude riles some folk but I'm sure he has a lot to do....
Jeez, if you think he's bitchy you should try my missus for a couple of weeks!

Code Red eBay store is selling the bd's as well (shipping only to the USA there,so if you're located outside the USA order them at the Big Cartel store):

"... now any possible eBay buyer know that those titles are available at a normal price. One scam artist was already selling JBD for 69.99$ there yesterday (since than the item was reported and the sale cancel by eBay)... the same one who sold The Golden Voyage of Sinbad for 49.99$ even if the the pre-order period is not open and Twillight Time will sell it for 29.99$."
