Bill will be complaining next week that Ghostkeeper only sold 500 copies. ;)

just wait for the angry posts on here when I list mine on amazon for £5000

Does anyone know why there is only 500 copies available at the moment? This is a big title which has been sought after for some time by many collectors, so I thought there would have been at least 2000 copies pressed.

CR always have relatively small pressings and this way (by pressing only 500) there's less risk involved.
Also this has to do with the new direct sales tactic I think, just testing the waters and being careful I guess.
Seems Bill only recently found a new pressing plant willing to press that little.

Maybe there will be a second pressing if sales are good?

First in depth (well a little ;) ) review I found of the new CR dvd:
"I'm so impressed with the transfer of the new DVD! Definitely the clearest version I've ever seen! Also the colors were so much better. I didn't know Jenny's turtle-neck was GREEN! I thought it was blue! The commentary was awesome too. So nice to hear the cast and director having fond memories of making this little low budget gem. I was definitely satisfied with this release! Keep up the good work!" (klspag at Imdb)

Another short review:
"I am shocked at how good GHOSTKEEPER looks on the Code Red dvd. This is a excellent transfer of a low budget film that primarily used natural lighting. It is a vast improvement over the dark, grainy New World vhs." (Loversnacks)

I like the sound of this one, but hope he has some copies left on Monday when I get paid!
