The two films are 'Shadow Of The Cat' and 'Night Creatures', and they are being released in a box set by the Australian Umbrella label

This is not going to happen unless Warner substantially change their licensing policy or go back to it themselves. They have only done that once before for The Curse of Frankenstein restoration (US only). I'd get the bare bones if I were you, because you could have a long wait otherwise.

Got both of those on vol 6 in the Powerhouse box sets. Phantom… too.

Same. I'm a little disappointed, was hoping for something at least less recent. I mean, Indicator's Volume 6 is still being sold.

Allan Bryce on FB:

"Enjoyed a most pleasant afternoon in The Star and Garter in Poland Street with my old pal Barry Forshaw and the new faces of Hammer, Goth beauty Aimee Withrington and Greg Wallace impersonator Steve Rogers, a lovely guy with a great sense of humour. Of course when confronted by gestapo-like interrogators like myself and Barry they had to give up some secrets about Hammer's plans for 2024 and they're quite exciting, even to old cynics like us. We have been sworn to secrecy or suffer a Terror of the Tongs Chinese burn, but we can reveal that they involved 4K UHD releases of a trio of Hammer classics that have so far not received that treatment, plus other fun spin-offs. Hopefully we can add one of these releases to our screening schedule at DarkFest 7. The vexing subject about what Hammer actually does and does not own was of course a big part of our discussion, but I'm pretty confident that with John Gore's money behind this resurrection and true fans involved, it might actually go somewhere."

I see the future and foresee my collection of (useless to me) 4K UHD editions increasing. I just hope they also add BR to the package...

I also hope they release some lesser-know titles, instead of the same 1st choice classics over and over, given that they had such great releases not so long ago. But I'll take what I can get!
