I’m sure that Arrow now see themselves as the British counterpart to Shout Factory and these new mainstream film releases would totally be at home on Shout. At the end of the day we don’t have to buy everything that they put out, and they have shown recently that for every Waterworld they release there is also a The Chill Factor.

Someone found a postcard for Dream Demon in their Oldboy ltd edition, so not to worry, the obscure stuff is still coming. I remember seeing this on the shelves back in the day, never saw it though.

i saw it and thought it was reasonably entertaining. we were, of course, in those days, totally starved of Brit-horror so perhaps i was more forgiving than usual. i seem to remember there was a 'Red Wedding' sequence that was quite gory.

No big special editions of True Romance, Last of The Mohicans, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves or even Ace Ventura.

They're all on HMV's site for the end of October at £7.99 each.

More importantly, no remasters, I'm guessing - True Romance and Robin Hood desperately need upgrades. Such a shame.

Yeah, it would've been great to get new 4K remasters of both. Hell, I would've even been tempted to just replace my copy of True Romance if they had used the original poster with the main cast. Oh well.

Does anyone know whether or not The Last of the Mohicans will feature the theatrical cut?

I think it is the theatrical cut. If it is, I'll pick it up.

It would appear that they are going to be released on the 'Arrow Films' label instead of the 'Arrow Video' label

Arrow Films: "Our umbrella and primary theatrical label, Arrow Films releases newly made / acquired films, documentaries and international TV in the UK. This includes well-respected and prestigious foreign language films (Aquarius, Clash, Blade of the Immortal) to more mainstream content (Lessons in Love, Whisky Galore). Arrow Films also acquires titles for elevated PVOD platform releasing (Shut In) and commercial Direct-to-Video titles (Security)."

Arrow Video: "Brings the very best in cult and horror films, released in deluxe, definitive editions with uncut versions, newly commissioned artwork, specially curated extras and booklets. Starting as an offshoot label in 2009, the collection now spans more than 300 releases including films from Dario Argento to Brian Yuzna. Recently the label has expanded into the US, whilst also moving into acquiring New Release content, including Mexican horror We Are The Flesh, Hounds of Love, The Ghoul and The Villainess"
