I'll take a wild stab in the dark and say the standard version of Bride of Re-Animator will be announced today.

I wonder if Arrow will get hold of The Thing? There's nothing wrong with Universals blu but if Scream Factory are doing a new edition its feasible isn't it?

It's blu-ray. It's already out on dvd in a double set with Prey.

Wow, when did that go OOP? Sure it wasn't like that in their newsletter the other day. Managed to pick my copy up in HMV last night anyway as it happens. What's the main difference between the Unrated and R-Rated cut? Is there different footage in the latter or is it just shorter?

It was in the newsletter on the stock update pick. I's been OOP on the site for a good few weeks now. I believe the runtime is roughly the same in both versions, just a couple of scenes have tamer footage in the R-Rated cut. I'm not bothered that the standard version won't include the R rated cut, as I'd never really watch it anyway.
