Just shows how opinions vary, I found fhe transfers of the TFTC movies very good.

They were done using old masters for sure. A small upgrade but better than the DVD. I guess I just wanted a big improvement.

Scream Factory titles piling on my shelf...Watched Class of 1984, one of their better pq titles I think.Haven't had time for Escape from NY, Evilspeak or Pumpkinhead yet.The Babadook was good psychological "monster" horror.Very old school.Ordered the upcoming new Astron-6 flick The Editor.Paz de la Huerta.Udo Kier.Laurence R. Harvey.High hopes, man.

I'm looking forward to checking out The Editor too. I really enjoyed Astron 6's Father's Day so have high hopes for this one.

I don't tend to get too excited about Scream Factory, but Class of 1984 is one SF title that I'm wanting to pick up in the near future so good to hear that pq is decent.

I'm sure I heard somewhere that Arrow might have Class of 1984. I may have imagined it though.

I watched it last week and thought the pic quality was very good. I also thought there was a bit more in the rape scene so put on my German DVD afterwards to check. I was stunned at the difference in pic quality between the two, like night and day. I didn't really appreciate it till I watched one after the other. And no, there wasn't any extra bit in the scene, so perhaps just watching it in Hi Def made it more dynamic. Recommended!!

Visiting Hours is really enjoyable, Michael Ironside does great psycho. I remember Bad Dreams as being daft fun from the 80s but haven't re-watched it yet.
