They've given the AT-AT gorilla feet! Not sure why to be honest. :)

They just seem to be remaking bits from other Star Wars films.

That's why I'm unsure, the battle looks to be a rehash of Episode 5

Yep.

Just take a look at the Tie-Fighter's entering the crystal ?whatever it is? with the Millennium Falcon. Certainly reminds me of that classic astroid chase in Ep 5.

The Empire Strikes Back set the standard. The Last Jedi is a pale imitation of a "true" classic. This is Star Wars without the magic and wonderous imagination of the original films. Just bits tacted on that make the film look slightly different.

Very tragic.

As I said in the past. Star Wars died when Return of the Jedi ended in 1983. Though Lucas did try to inject some thought and creative direction with the prequels. Disney just want's to play it safe and rake in the cash.

will be going to see it but my expectations will be set low, sadly no matter how good or bad it turns out its going make a tonne of money which is a shame when something like blade runner is struggling with sales.

I have a lot of reasons why I am not excited, as I said before, after episode 7; I got more and more wound up about, especially the more I thought of what I saw. On top of that a couple of issues based on the trailer. 1 - Kylo Ren is still a character that's torn. Why? If anything he should be much more angry and more determined after getting beat by rey. 2 the scene with atat walkers is probably going to be derivative of the battle of hoth. So, I'm happy to wait for it to come out on blu ray. Also there are more interesting movies coming out around.December anyway

The Han Solo Movie now has a confirmed name... | The Digital Fix

...'Solo: A Star Wars Story'!

Hopefully more thought went into the script than it did the title!

I have to admit, I loved Force Awakens &Rogue One, Last Jedi looks very good, but yes, very talky! Perhaps too many cgi creatures (chewie is flying the millennium falcon with a er....a christmas robin?), but still good.
However the trailer seems desperate to tell us who Rey's parents are....
SPOILER THEORY ALERT........

Methinks she's Han & Leia's daughter, and it looks like Kylo Ren is going to kill Carrie fisher! From the trailer that is!
At least the sfx dont look as early 90's as justice league! Lol!
