When you get to the black screen after the arrow...

When you get to the black screen after the arrow showreel, press the fast forward button, then leave it for a second or two to "skip forward" a few frames, then it will move to the next chapter !...

FOUND THE FIX! whenever you hit a black screen, just press the "frame skip/advance" button, NOT the chapter skip, but the one one next to it that allows you to move forward 2x, 4x and so on...!!

UPDATE!! randomly decided to press the pause /...

UPDATE!! randomly decided to press the pause / play button when i had the black screen and it suddenly skipped onto the next scene! managed to get to the main menu, but as as soon as i hit play film...

Futher update! player number 3 - no success :(

Further update! I CANNOT get it to play in an lg BD560 - with an ethernet connection to the network AND fully updated just now, so that's 3 different players and no luck :(

EDIT - my laptop now...

I cant even get them to work on my hp laptop, it just keeps asking to "check for updates" and refuses to even load :(

Will not load the main menu

I've managed to stumble upon the exact same problem with a Samsung bd D5500 player :( everything's up to date and it just displays a black screen after the Arrow trailer reel :S
