Yeah, I think Scream made a mistake not getting hold of an unrated transfer. Everyone I know and talk to is avoiding it as they want it uncut. DVD/BD labels need to understand one thing about horror...

I've heard reports that the US Blu of Assault isn't very good. Saying that, I have the Euro release which I imagine is the same transfer and it looked fine to me!

I wonder if Day of the Dead will be region-free? ABUS certainly had no contractual obligation to code it and didn't. We'll see if Scream! Factory pull the same 'We are contractually obliged' line...
