Any news on this? A friend of mine (who also has a Panasonic player) doesn't have any trouble with the trailers/introduction on his disc, so it does look like it's disc-related.

I checked it on my American player and on that...

I checked it on my American player and on that one the sound comes in halfway during the House trailer before it freezes completely... both are Panasonics.
