People are getting up in arms on other forums...

People are getting up in arms on other forums because the German Black Christmas uses a new stereo mix, and doesn't include the original mono.

Any thoughts on this?

Does the director's cut of Army of Darkness have the extra footage in HD - like the consistent quality of the extra footage in the MGM HK release?

Dunno, I've not watched it yet, despite owning it. I read that it looks like an upconvert and is a pretty poor quality release. Mine's still sealed.

Guess I was a bit quick to call it 'shoddy'...

I heard Burial Ground wasn't much better than the shoddy US release, so is the German version genuinely much better?
