the frightening side of all this is that retailers would congratulate us on finally seeing sense and releasing films they can sell easily.

Damn fine film, Whalberg needs to play more psycho-teen roles; I don't care if he's nearly 40 (is 40?).

It's the kind of tight, efficient trashy, but well-made thriller that seems all too rare these days or am I not being observant?

I don't think I've seen a film feature a roller-coaster fingering since Fear... shame.

Hey I have to say, if the "Three men and a baby" Shameless cover was modified enough so Ted Danson was up to his neck in sand and coughing salty water and there was a cardboard ghost in the background, I'd be fooled enough to shell out some cash. :)

BTW - Maxwell's best role was in the chilling Boys Next Door, he's very convincing as a psychopath. Much better than his stint in BBC's Casualty.

This is a special rebuild of Grease 2 including a previously unseen section with Michelle Pfeiffer and Olivia Newton-John taking part in a Sapphic love scene before moving on to taking baseball bats and Samurai swords to each other. I don't even think Quentin Tarantino could conceive of such a scene.

(The Spanish distributor could also splice in some unauthorised hardcore footage between Caulfield and Pfeiffer :lol: )

It's a little-known fact that Takashi Miike was asked to be a script supervisor on Grease 2 but turned it down to work on his own projects.

I think you would be lucky to get this through unscathed by the BBFC. Would it include the notorious 'singing' scene?:)

That would be the intention, yes. We can all hope for an uncut release, but you know how those guys at Soho Square feel about gratuitous singing.

Might be worth going for the full uncut import with 'scenes not fit for the cinema' then?:)
