Total gross out. You have to see it to believe it. Awesome !

:chainsawkill:

thought the exact same thing, shows how things have changed to get away with something like that, i doubt it would pass as movie, said this elsewhere it seems you can get away with more on tv now than the silver screen

I thought that scene propelled the episode to the best of the series so far. So gross, yet so bloody funny.

gag 14th October 2016 10:06 PM

Goes show how relaxed tv has become, because scene of full nudity penis and half the gore scenes in Walking dead wouldnt have got past the censorship uncut for films in 80s let alone tv thats for sure.
Now gore violence and nudity seems to be the norm in a lot of tv shows the morgue scene was gross and funny, but also at same time i didnt find it funny cos i thought it was stupid. If that makes sense.

You probably already got confirmation from elsewhere by now but just in case, yeah, the US blu-ray is region B friendly. Works just fine on my PS3. Was quite expensive to import, cost me 23 pounds from Wow HD. Was annoying that the UK got dvd only...

keirarts 11th January 2017 07:13 AM

Got the American blu-ray on Amazon for £22. Weirdly from a Japanese based firm?!

You're right, didn't know that, but £34.99 is a bit steep at the minute

Dave Boy 27th June 2017 06:27 PM

Talk about closing the gate after the horse has bolted...
Season 1 should have had a blu release from the beginning. Many people have imported the region free release from the US.
It will be interesting to see if there are any extras included.

SymbioticFunction 28th June 2017 12:20 AM

Minority Report

I actually bought the somewhat pricey US region b friendly release and then sold it off. Sorry to be a naysayer but I thought that the tv series wasn't anywhere near as good as the original 3 movies, and personally couldn't see any replay value in it. Was also dissatisfied with mere 30 min episode running times - felt awkward and didn't seem appropriate somehow. But it's still obviously good news that it is finally getting a UK release, so that more folks can finally check it out. I have never seen a tv series that I have liked enough to retain a physical copy of (television production values are ALWAYS lesser to film despite what some folks/fans would have you believe). I definitely would have preferred to have seen an Evil Dead 4 motion picture. OK, minority report over - flame away. :)

Demoncrat 18th August 2017 06:55 PM

Just watched Series 2. Still as bonkers as the previous one. Roll on 3rd!!

Dave Boy 18th August 2017 07:43 PM

Nice one! Yep, it's pretty awesome.
I still can't get over the episode in the morgue. That was really gross out.

Demoncrat 18th August 2017 07:50 PM

Every time the claret started, I just sat agog. A tv programme.
Plus his relish in saying those cheesy lines was self evident.
A tonic. :nod::hail:

Rik 18th August 2017 08:09 PM

I can't wait for season 3, it's such a fun show

Demoncrat 18th August 2017 08:44 PM

Watched the first series in tandem with AHS: Hotel. So it was a toss up as to which was the most violent tv show I'd ever seen.

Some great films there apart from number 4 which is ok but is a one viewing film for me and think like most of us saw the twist coming a mile away.

Season 3 Episode 1- 'Family'

Good start to the new series.
The death by musical instruments scenes were pretty awesome.
A fun episode from start to finish and some good joke lines.

Katrina Hobbs who plays Candace (Candy) Barr is yet another actor from Xena Warrior Princess and Hercules The Legendary journeys.
This show is like a Xenaverse family reunion.

Rik 26th February 2018 06:39 PM

Loved it, I genuinely laughed out loud a few times when I watched it yesterday, great start to the season

Stephen@Cult Labs 20th April 2018 07:38 PM

Now everything's Netflix and streaming there's no longevity whatsoever. Shows will come and go be seen once then never heard of again and forgotten about almost immediately.

Nothings to be savoured anymore. Watch the box set as quick as you can then move on, is today's attitude.

Personally I think it got to stupid and become to much gutter humour for me especially considering based of a horror .
