Started The Night Agent on Netflix. Decent enough so far. |
Finished that Swarm then, 7 episodes etc. Not what I expected tbh. Recommended? Hmm. Having not seen any trailers, I'd say go in blind .... |

I’ve had this on my prime watchlist but whether I get around to it or not is anyone’s guess haha… Almost started it last night but then I didn’t… |

In my current state of Andersonmania  I'm revisiting The Secret Service, easily the most British of their output, starring as it does Stanley Unwin as a spy dressed like a vicar :nod: I had never even heard of this one until I found some vhs in an Oxfam last century. A revelation somewhat. Predating UFO, this features puppetry and live action, which works most of the time cough. |
TSS update Am loving these btw. In moments of need, out comes the Unwinese to bewilder a foe or two. His poor assistant though ...:laugh::nod: |
Secret Service "Errand Of Mercy" (ep 7). Woooh. The show on a whole is incredibly grounded. But here we enter fantasy territory with a flying car and all that. The African setting is .... interesting to say the least ahem. |
Joe 90 First two episodes as they are shorter than the UFO ones. The first sets up the stall right out of the gate with a thrilling Cold War element to add some spice. Our young hero is tasked with something Herculean tbh, but pluck and determination win the day. Ahem. As openers go, it's a doozy. The second is another belter what with gunrunners and daring stunts by the bucket. It's just that he is only nine  What were they thinking? I only have vague memories of it due to the fact I found Joe to be a smug berk as a fellow child :pound: but am willing to be adult about it now :behindsofa: |
X Files: Within/Without. Robert Patrick arrives as Agent John Doggett leading the hunt for Mulder in the wake of his disappearance. This two parter is a great opener to season 8, IMO the last great season of The X Files. |
The Coronation parade was truly fantastic. It's what OLED tv's were made for. The whole event itself was timeless and something i've never seen before during my lifetime. A ceremony that harks back centuries to the middle ages that takes place today in the day of technology. |
