Very different films. Both brilliant, though I prefer Hardware. Dust Devil is a mood piece for me.

Default film club

bought tickets for following events at the Darlington film club, these may be of interest to Nos :

Darlington FIlm Club proudly present a screening of Hammer's 'Frankenstein And The Monster From Hell'.
Following the film, one of the film's stars, Madeline Smith, will be on stage for a live Q&A.
Madeline is famous for her Hammer roles as well as appearing in 'Live And Let Die', 'Carry On Matron' & 'Doctor At Large'.

A signing & photo opportunity will available after the Q&A. 08/05/17

Robin Askwith is back!

Last year, Darlington Film Club and Misty Moon brought the legend that is Robin Askwith to The Forum for a screening and his own stand up show, telling us stories of his career, some of those stories were definitely not in his autobiography!

On 10th July, Film Club proudly presents Robin Askwith back again, this time with a screening of 'Horror Hospital' and the second chapter of Robin's show live on stage.

If you missed Robin's first visit, you don't want to miss him again! He is so funny and the stories he tells will keep you entertained for days after!

I saw an advert for the Madeline Smith event and was gutted that I can't attend because I'm out all day at a training event. I've checked my calendar and should be able to make the second Robin Asquith appearance though.
