While The Lost Boys is my favourite vampire movie, I do love Fright Night. It contains all the elements required of being a classic. A Chilling atmosphere, good gore/effects and good acting. "Your so cool Brewster." |

I really like Fright Night; it would definitely make my top ten fave vampire flicks.I'd like the movie on Blu-ray but seeing as I'm too much of a cheapskate to have forked out for the one that was available for a limited time, I'll have to make do with the UK DVD.Roddy McDowall and Chris Sarandon are great in it imo.I haven't seen the remake, but I can't imagine David Tennant and Colin Farrell better them.

We had a juicy discussion on here a couple of years ago regarding which was the best vamp flick from 87 - The Lost Boys or Near Dark. It was all in good fun and many insults were thrown in all directions. |
