That's how to make a brilliant film on feck all budget!

The effects may be rubbish, continuity is virtually non-existent and it is quite obviously made on a shoestring (or even less) budget, but it is really well directed and written.

Near Dark -- no contest. The Lost Boys is good fun, but it doesn't have the depth or characterisation of Kathryn Bigelow's film.
