I'm thinking of buying this, but would like to know first how the discs are packaged inside the box, can't make it out from the pic. Looks like some kind of book.

I'm still not sure what to make of this release. I can't believe it isn't getting a bluray release. Seems ridiculous considering how many times the Friday 13th fiilms have been released.

I guess the blu-rays of the first 3 films didn't sell too well.

I can understand the fans' frustration (endless re-releases and no BD), but since I'm not a big fan of this I don't have them yet and won't be upgrading any time soon, so for me it's a nice way to get the collection in one go.

Has to be it I guess, although seeing the reaction to the lack of HD releases for the series post F13th part 3 it seems a bit odd.

It is a shame that the later sequels, for all their faults, seem to be forgotten somewhat.

I am a big fan of the Friday the 13th films. I have the original box set which is a bit disappointing, no way in the world i would double dip for this though. When push comes to shove the films are no different, and thats what matters over extras.

BTW The Crystal Lake Memories book is absolutely superb.

Why do I get strange looks at parties and weddings when I do the Crispin Glover dance from Friday the 13th? My wife acts like she doesn't even know me! Also, if it has been a while since I had shaved my head, I leave a few patches and run out of the bathroom and yell " JASON " like Corey. But again all I get is looks of puzzlement.
