It would fly through uncut today. Ferman (as ever) went completely over the top with the cuts. Many of them - possibly all - would have been waived if Vipco had resubmitted the uncut print in 2001 instead of reissuing the cut video print.

Is this film available in a good version anywhere? Wasn't there one coming out from Germany a while ago?

Zone Horror showed it fully uncut though the print was pretty much VHS quality.

Sure did, I think Reaper (who else?) bought it and said it was a pretty shoddy release. Foiled again, Reaps!

I love Night of the Demon - it's so utterly hilarious that it's unbeatable. It is interesting how its plot has some similarities to Blair Witch as well! (I see more in common with Blair Witch and Night of the Demon than I do Blair Witch and Cannibal Holocaust, put it that way)

No guys the frigging German release STILL hasn't seen the light of day!
I've had it on order since last November!

It's the region 1 dvd that's fully uncut,but yeah it's a shoddy transfer and probably sells for crazy money now!

Much like Reaper I want to see NIGHT OF THE DEMON get a DVD release but i'm starting to realize the more we post in here the more we are torturing poor ol Reaps
