I enjoyed it. I honestly don't know what the studios problem was that they felt the need to reshoot the majority of it. It's great that we got the opportunity to see it, and see the differences between Dominion and The Beginning.

I bought both films but now own only one. I kept the one with the extra sfx sequences as i thought they livened the film up,(Can't remember if this is Dominion or the Beginning) the original i found terribly dull.

I think it was probably Dominion that you found dull.

from what people have said, dominion is the better of the 2.
the studio wanted something more "scary" so they made the beginning.

Saw The Beginning at the cinema and thought it was okay at the time. Recently picked up the double pack with Dominion and this time 'round thought Beginning was a bit cheesy (the CGI in particular has not aged very well imho), but thought Dominion was great. A much better film all round, I thought.
