Default Doomsday (2008)

Watched this the other night after picking it up for £6.
What started out as a good idea turned shite very fast, did anyone rate this flick?
I expected more from Neil Marshall after Dog Soldiers and The Descent, which were both nice brit indie horrors.

Started out good and evolved into a farce.......it's not far off the truth though-there are wild bastards like that in Glasgow...

It's entertaining enough but definitely disappointing after his previous films.

I felt the same as you, Jim. It starts off promising enough, but goes downhill fast. "Dog Soldiers" is still my fav Neil Marshall film by a long way.

I think Doomsday has a bunch of 'good bits' that don't really form a good film. There's some cool imagery, some fun action and a pretty decent soundtrack, but that's about it. Oh, and some great cast members too (I love how much Malcolm McDowell seems to be about now).
