River of Death looked very nice when I saw it on TCM HD a little while ago. Not sure what Arrow was going on about regarding the apparent lack of suitable materials for Dudikoff Blu-rays.

You know, I call bullshit on Arrow's response to me that The Dudikoff film materials looked terrible. I asked them after being told by someone that stuff like Avenging Force and American Ninja looked great when they were shown on MGMHD.

Yeah, could be BS...

Out of interest, was Avenging Force shown in widescreen? I think the current MGM DVD uses a spruced up fullscreen VHS transfer (although I'm not certain what the original aspect ratio technically was).

Not sure tbh. I still can't believe it hasn't even had a dvd release in the US, even one of the MOD dvd-r's from MGM.

NSM Records are releasing 3 rather nice Avenging Force dvd hardboxes. Still the same fullscreen MGM dvd, but with original artwork.

Well this will teach me for my laziness.
As a recent convert to The Dud
I will be revisiting my favourites ... Avenging Force among them
