I liked that Bronson movie where he plays a Mellon farmer that tries to protect his land from thugs that are trying to close him down. Or something along those lines anyway...

I'm a big fan but my dad is an even bigger fan. If I had to pick faves that I remember (been years since I saw the likes of Stone Killer, Love and Bullets, Cold Sweat), here's my list:

Death Wish
The Mechanic
Mr Majestik
10 To Midnight
Death Wish 2
Red Sun (too weird to see Bronson and Toshiro Mifune together in a western!)
OUATITW
Evil That Men Do
Magnificent Seven

and an honorary mention for Igor in House Of Wax. Time to raid the rest of my dad's collection when I get back and catch up.

MGM really dragged out awful covers for some of his releases though. Almost always just some generic still of Bronson in a semi-action pose.

Death Wish: Does anyone else agree that this film featured one of the most unconvincing gang of thugs ever seen? The gang that was responsible for that guy's wife, led by a young Jeff Goldblum. They were like rejects from Class of 1984, or something from Troma.

They do look a little like a meaner version of Village People but they probably look worse in retrospect being led by a nerdy scientist.

I love a good revenge movie. They never seem to go out of style. Revenge/ Vigilante movies will alway's be made. Yeah, that gang of thugs were naff, to say the least. If you wanna see "Village People rejects", then watch Neon Maniacs. Theres 12 of them in that!
Jeff Goldblum was awesome in The Fly, I've always liked that film. Great special FX in that too...
