It's unfortunate that DEATH WISH 2 and 3 dvds are available only in the full screen formats.

I'm still looking forward to THE STONE KILLER and WHITE BUFFALO being released on region 1 or 2 dvd.

Has anyone watched COLD SWEAT (Optimum dvd region 2 UK) ? Is the movie any good? and is the picture presented in anamorphic widescreen?

A nice collection of Bronson films there.

I got this German blu ray for the same price HMV was selling that shitty 'exclusive' release on dvd!

Keep meaning to get that Hen's Tooth dvd of the Evil That Men Do, Purely for the fact that the artwork is better than the UK Network dvd.

I think that will be the same as the German MGM dvd, and it looks pretty good.

Yes indeed. Apart from Death Wish II with its R-rated and unrated releases, all international MGM DVDs of the Death Wish series should be identical.

I've got all five parts of the franchise on DVDs from different countries - they all look pretty good (especially parts one and three):

Ein Mann sieht rot (Death Wish) - R2 - Kinowelt Germany
Il Giustiziere Della Notte 2 (Death Wish II) - R2 - Sony Italy (unrated!)
Le Justicier de New York (Death Wish III) - R2 - MGM France
Death Wish 4 - R2 - MGM Germany
Death Wish V - R2 - MGM Germany

I wouldn't mind a nice little Blu-ray box set with all five titles, though!

Depends where you get them. The R2 German and Dutch MGM versions of DW3 are anamorphic widescreen, as is the Dutch Columbia version of DW2.

I'd like to add that the German R2 MGM DVD only contains the R-rated cut. The Dutch Columbia disc, the French Columbia disc, and the Italian Columbia/Sony discs contain the unrated cut.

I have US discs of the first, third and fourth. A Brazilian set that features the first and second, and the aforementioned Greek five.

I love Bronson. My favourite film he's in is Once Upon a Time in the West.
