Apparently it's been confirmed that the US Blu-Ray of Death Wish 2 will be the heavily cut R rated version.

Damn! Saw the beginning of this post and got my hopes up! Ah well, no sale. I'll just stick with my Dutch dvd.

honestly no suprises there
they have no interest at all

every dvd released is cut
yet the film is shown on sky/bbc UNCUT
recorded it on bbc
w/rape scenes never will be shown uncut on esp bbc!
DEATH WISH 2 which imo is the best of the DW films

That's yours truly sticking with the uncut Aussie DVD then and buying only the third and fourth entries in HD.

Hey, did you guys know that there is a book about the movies called Bronson's Loose: the making of the death wish films.

It's short but very detailed read. Strongly recommend not just if you're a fan of the films but also if you're a fan of Cannon.

Erm. Sorry, if DW 2 is still cut in HD, then only part 3 and 4 are gonna be in my basket soon.

The original is my favorite but 2 is close behind. With the news of the R cut being released on BD it looks like I will only be picking up 3 and 4.
