Oh man, part 3 by far!

It also contains one of the funniest lines of dialogue, regarding telling the protagonist that his girlfriend/wife, is dead.

'I'm sorry Mr. Kersey, but your girlfriend has....expired.'

Pete and oaxaca like this.

High time Death Wish 2 was unleashed uncut in the UK.

wouldn't surprise me even after all this time, the BBFC would still cut the rape scenes

Yeah and i know what you mean. There's just something about Paul Kersey's final bout of crimefighting that sets it apart from the previous four entries. A decent and watchable movie but not quite as enjoyable as what has gone before imo.

If I had to rank them, the order would probably be...

1. Death Wish I
2. Death Wish II
3. Death Wish IV (controversial, ranking, perhaps?. "I told you I'd kill her! I TOLD YOU!"
4. Death Wish 3 (Enjoy it, but not to the extent of most. Looks a little cheap to me, and the acting/plot holes get to me after a while!)
5. Death Wish V

I thought Death Wish 2 had finally been classified uncut yesterday by the BBFC, but unfortunately it was the pre-cut American R rated version.

Lame. The rape scene in that one is brutal. Uncomfortable to watch; I wonder how much that sequence is cut?

Needless to say i'll be avoiding DW2 due to the cuts but i'm definitely up for the third entry seeing as the film was passed intact years ago and is only now imminently on it's way! That's the good 'ol U.K. DVD market for ya, always a good while behind every other country.

I actually like that cover for Death Wish 3. I know it's basically just a montage of photos, but I like the colour scheme.
