I avoided this for ages because i taught it would be making fun of disabled people but i felt it turned out well and the joke was more on able bodied people as the people with the disabilities stole the show. Granted the subject matter was a bit risky but on the other side it gave these people a staring role and were not just there to be pitied or made fun of but to show that these are normal talented and genuinely funny people.

Diggstown, aka Midnight Sting, starring James Woods and Louis Gossett Jr. Haven't seen this in years, but it just popped into my head.

I'm a big boxing fan, so I really like decent fight films. There's a Korean film called 'Champion' that always gets overlooked, based on a true story. Gotta mention 'Tokyo Fist' no matter how unrealistic it is. Great film. I've always liked the John Huston film 'Fat City' with a young a Jeff Bridges. 'The Great White Hype' is really funny. |

Fat City is great, with a superb performance from Stacy Keach as the washed up boxer trying to make a comeback. ' Listen. Let me tell you something. You can count on me. Right down the line.'

Did Keach then snort that line? |

What about the great Steve McQueen in Le Mans (1971)? I presume you could call motor racing a sport.
