Escape to Victory is a great film. With great legends of both football and acting.

I'm not a fan of sport. In fact, I just about hate everything about it. It's not that I don't appreciate the skill of athletes and sports-people, but I'm just not interested in watching it.

As a consqeuence, I tend to avoid sports themed movies as I know they'll bore me. But ones that I have liked are Field of Dreams, Sudden Death, Slap Shot, Rollerball (does that count?), Death Race 2000 (well it's racing, which is a sport, isn't it?), The Last Boy Scout and Black Sunday (the one with a terrorist who's going to blow up a sports stadium). I suppose I could also add any number of martial arts films featuring tournaments: Kickboxer, Blood Sport, Enter the Dragon etc.

Only you could shoehorn something like that into a thread like this. But I like how you think! In that case, can I add Hard Target?

Pah - what's wrong with 'The Most Dangerous Game'?

Am I showing my age here?

But it IS a sport movie......

Hunting-Chasing Olivia Hussey in an exotic locale.

Target practise-Blowing a character named Thatcher's head off-gold medal!

Football-with gasoline.

Horse riding-with a lesbian rider!

Archery-again with the lesbian!

Motocross-In a jeep-cum-bulldozer!

Weight lifting-Live to Steve Railsback!

Wrestling-Live on the beach with a tag team and a machete!

Watersport-In the shower room!

Diving....again when the horserider catches......righty o Reaps that's enough now!

Name another film Dae that successfully combines all the above.....
