Dude! I can't make out trees OR sky! lol. I'll have to cut back on the Arrow soft-core... But seriously this is why I hate teasers.

Daemonia. Thank you! I didn't know that edition existed. But I prefer my cult movies in a white slipcover, you dig?

fuzzymctiger. Wanna start a dvd company?

Think thats coming from Twilight Time. And THAT pisses me off, as it prevents decent companies like Arrow/Second Sight/Scream Factory from getting hold of these cool titles and giving them decent editions.

Erotica are healthy, porn movies aren't.

Alone in the Dark(great) and Deranged(also great) would fit, and since Arrow spent so much on ZFE might come cheaper than more high profile titles, MGM would charge too much for The Burning surely, the R1 is uncut and cheap anyway(despite the 'R')

So if a film doesn't come in a white slipcase you're not interested?

I couldn't agree more.

Twilight Time can go eat ALL the dicks.

Sony are behaving really weirdly with their back catalogue. On the one hand they license to Twilight Time, who'll only do a limited run but with a high price tag. On the other, Sony will hand over their films to Mill Creek who chuck two films on one BD and sell an unlimited amount dirt cheap (but they look very good, even at that low price point, better than some higher priced titles I've bought).

I just don't get what Sony's marketing model is at the moment. They seem to be all over the place. Strange, when you consider they are the ones who essentially brought Blu-ray to market, now it seems like they're trying to abandon it.

As for the teasers issue. I enjoy those and think its a fun way to promote the dvds rather than some stale announcement.

As for the probable erotica...its a waste. Arrow Video has been going in a different direction that I do not like that much.

Slasher, giallo, western, blaxploitation I think fits the logo but erotica not so much.

I can get where he's coming from.

I no longer buy DVDs, unless it's something from a label like Arrow, Shameless or Scream, or something that's been salvaged from a VHS and wouldn't see a hd print in the near future or ever.

Something like Alone In The Dark has a good chance of being picked up by a label that'll care of it and put it in HD
