What he said.

It's also a great film on the role of sound in film, like Berberian Sound Studio.

If you've recently seen and enjoyed Berberian Sound Studio, this is almost compulsory viewing as it is also about a sound designer/engineer who becomes consumed by sounds he has recorded. It's also similar to The Conversation in that way.

This is another one I very much doubt will demand an 18, so I can put the stickers away again.

The MGM dvd was rated 12 so unless there's extra content on there which demands a higher certificate (doubtful) you'll be fine

What's even better is that a good 30% of my collection is like that. I'll have a laugh after my 18'th and peel them off. The parents will wonder where 50 odd 18's popped up from where there where only 5 at first (one's they allow).

I noticed last night I've got Blow Out recorded on my Sky+ box from the MGM HD channel I might delete it now though and wait for the disc so I will appreciate watching it - i hate watching a film before the BD comes out because I never feel like watching it again, stuff from the cinema for example comes out too soon on home video now.

What I do with my parents, is tell the, films that are 18 in Britain that have lower ratings in Australia, so they just completely ignore ratings now.
