I'm not so keen on it. Would look great as a screen printed poster design for the collector market, where the designer can be a little more 'out there' with the design concept, but I never feel they look right when transplanted onto dvd/Blu covers . . .

I don't care for the artwork on this one either. A moot point anyway, as I already own the Criterion BD.

Just came on to say that. Ignored! (Well, not ignored, as I'm replying. But you get my meaning)

I was positive I had just read posts in this topic yesterday, but it was a Blow Out conversation in another thread. Very bewildered there for a moment.

Seems Arrow have done a pretty decent job on this, according to DVDBeaver anyway. I look forward to my Steelbook shipping this week.

I've noticed that the release date for the steelbook has been postponed to next week on Amazon, and that its status on Arrow's site is now 'pre-order'. I got the film from Sainsburys online and watched most of it yesterday.

However, I couldn't ignore the fact that during the flashback sequence where John Travolta tells us about the wiretap that went badly wrong, the shots where we see the undercover guy looking very uncomfortable in the back of the car looked HORRIBLE! I think it was a case of that DNR that we all know and love, but has anyone else seen this?

Also, the 360 degree shot later on in the film looked a little unfocused and blurry to me, but that could be my TV/BD player quality rather than the quality of the disc itself....

I remember that scene looking a little bit iffy on the Criterion disc too actually.
porcupine likes this.

Still no Blow Out disc here. You'd think I lived on the other side of the planet!
