More so than Beyond? I hear that's supposedly Fluci's best. I've only seen the cut version on VHS and didn't think much of it though I've recently had the urge to see it again.

I suspect many would rate The Beyond as his best but I love City for the incredible sense of dread.

Interestingly, seeing both up on the big screen last night, I think City does come across as the better film. What it lacks, however, is the gutpunch ending of The Beyond.

I've never seen House by the Cemetary but I bought a copy last night, looking forward to watching.

Hard to pick a favourite between City and Beyond. I like them both equally.

The Beyond is classical for it's Jaw dropping effects, but City is as equally violent, but just edges it with it's mist-filled streets of Dunwich.
Also-McColl-coffin-pickaxe.....
Claustrophobia has never been done as well onscreen.

House is up there with Fulci's best though.

House... is my favourite of the 3 Maccoll/Fulci movies. It's the only one with a actual story too! lol

My girlfriends head almost exploded at the Glasgow showing, I asked to tell me the plot for both The Beyond and City... - she couldn't!
