Excellent! If this is what you can do with Dawn, I'd love to see what Day will look like with better source material on offer. Bub in HD - can't wait.

Have you considered a high-definition release of the original Night of the Living Dead? It always seems to get screwed over in the UK with mediocre releases. There's already a Blu-ray available by Optimum Releasing, but there's only one extra on it, and another by Network is arriving sometime this month (reportedly remastered from the original negatives, but the Youtube extract has received criticism - also, the only extra is a trailer.) I'm afraid to buy either of these releases because I know there'll be a better release ahead. If Arrow were to award that film with the same treatment as Dawn, I think it would go down well.

Maybe - I think it'll depend on how sales of Dawn and then Day go - if they work then it's a good argument for trying Night.

No,a release of the recent NOTLD 3-D with Sid Haig. That's a joke btw.Although what would be nice is a NOTLD '90 dvd featuring the unrated cut of the film.I can't ever seen sony releasing another dvd and Arrow are the people to do it

A couple of weeks ago, I E-Mailed Arrow to ask whther there are plans to update the current DVD edition of Dawn to include all 3 version plus all these cool features. I got a reply saying there were no plans as yet, but I then got another reply saying they were looking into it.

Are we any further forward, or will we have to wait to see if the Blu-ray is successful?

An HD release of NOTLD would be superb if it matched the Millenium Edition in terms of extras. How about a BD of The Evil Dead as only Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness have been released in the UK?

I have to say that's about the same I know! I'll see what their thinking is but I suspect they'll want to see how the BD does first.

My mate was going to buy the new Everton home shirt (he's been after it for weeks) but changed his mind when i told him about the new Dawn release.

Personally i would have bought the shirt first.
