The invoice for Prisoner Cell Block H had someone elses details. Returned it yesterday only for two copies of City to arrive today!

One is a terrifying story of mumbling, shuffling zombies terrorizing the luckless inhabitants of a small confined place.

The other one is City Of The Living Dead.

(sorry Almar).......

That's speedy!

I ordered mine two weeks or more ago on pre-order from HMV and it only turned up today!

Still, at least I've got it now

Well, you can't say fairer than that! The question is: are you going to be honest about it and return one or sneakily pretend that only one copy arrived and keep both? I know what I'd do, but I'm not telling!

I felt that the picture quality was good apart from the outdoor misty scenes where there is alot of graining. As I haven't seen this film before I can't compare to dvd but if you guys say the picture is stunning then I am quite happy

Yeah, some players handle it, some don't. Some tvs handle it, some don't. Some players even convert it to 60hz so it'll work on the tvs that don't.

A reasonable amount of surface grain should be expected, and is probably intentional on Fulci's part, and, as you say, there are plenty of scenes with fog and other distractions (not to say maggots!) getting in the way. Like you, I was extremely happy with the picture and it is amazing what a high definition restoration process can do to a reasonably low budget film from decades ago.

Catriona MacColl did say that Fulci was pretty hard on his actors -- maybe that is visual proof of what working on a Fulci movie will do to you!
