Good soundtrack too imo.

Vamp really is just an easy film to get into and enjoy.

Any word on whether a BR version has been given the green light yet, Almar?

This is wonderful news and no doubt your capable hands are up to the job.

How do you think Arrow's Vamp will measure up to the ABUS version in terms of extras? Very well i like to think.

I can't speak for Almar, as he is on vacation until Monday, but I don't think there is much chance of a Blu-ray release as when I first got a whisper of Vamp being an Arrow release, it was strictly as a DVD title.

If anything has changed between then and now, I'm sure he will let us (and everyone else in his address book) know about it! In terms of Arrow's resources, I'm sure they are fairly stretched what with Phenomena, Tenebrae, Inferno, Bay of Blood and whatever else is on the horizon vying for a high definition release.

Let's just say this one will be even more jam packed than the US edition! All with UK exclusive goodies. If you love the film, you'll love this package! The only thing both editions have in common is that Grace Jones cold shouldered us both.

Almar did say a couple of pages back that all being well there will be BD too. Guess we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.

In that case, I'll wait to see what you have to offer and what the films like before deciding on a double-dip -- one thing is for certain: I will buy the Arrow release before deciding how much I like the film and whether it goes into the 'one purchase pile' or the 'double-dip pile'!

Fantastic news -- I'm not quite sure how I missed that one?

Of course, I'd be more than happy with just a dvd, but a BD is the icing on a fantasic, fattening cake

Indeed. I'm not one for cake usually (I don't have a sweet tooth) but, in this case, I will gladly make an exception for some wonderful, wonderful Vamp cake!

That's what i like to hear! Music to my ears!!

Hopefully there will be a BR version of Vamp hitting the shelves.

But ultimately it doesn't matter to me whether Arrow's edition is either SD or HD i'm having a copy on which ever format the film comes out on.

Roll on October!
