I have mailed my contact at Anolis (the distributor of the "Hände Weg!" editions) and asked whether the print they have is HD proof and whether they're planning a Blu-ray release. If the answer's satisfying, maybe we can set something nice up.   |

This really rates as one of Bava's best. The photography for this prototype 'bodycount' movie is nothing short of stunning.

Great news! One of my favourite of the DPP 39!! A classic and a clear forerunner to Friday the 13th!! See it to believe it! One thing Almar .... how have our friends at the BBFC looked at this??? Obvious question is .. will it be uncut??

If this release does well (which I'm sure it will), I hope there's a good chance of other Bava Blu. Sure I read somewhere there are HD materials for Black Sabbath, for example.
