I think that's a very mean spirited thing to say and hardly very constructive.

Actually, that conflicts with reports that say that Arrow's audio on Inferno is superior. I get the feeling EA has signed up simply to stir up bad feeling.

Years ago, when DVD first came out, I was overjoyed to get these rare and cult films on silver disc - uncut and in their OAR! The technical aspects of the discs never even came into it. Yes, there was always room for improvement, when looking back with hindsight, but the pleasure these films have brought me over the years have far outweighed any technical deficiencies they might have had.

Well maybe it is better - I don't know as I've not heard both yet but I just despair at the way people think it's appropriate to be so nasty.

There is little joy these days it seems in trying to do the best possible with limited resources for cult films and I've just turned down the chance to bring a load of real obscure Italian films to market because I know they'll be tough to get right on limited budgets and a very limited market.

Well that's funny - I also got my copy from BU and I actually think the sound is far superior on Arrow.

Arrow's Inferno was my first Argento on blu-ray and I thought (and think) it looked and sounded beautiful - so much so that I had to watch it twice!

I am still curious to see BU's release as the coloring seems to be a little different in scenes (ala the bathtub).

My favorite thing about Arrow's releases are the Daria Nicolodi features - I adore her and think she's very underrated in the genre.

inferno looks and sounds amazing to me. could it be better? probably, very slightly, yes. does that make arrow's disc any less of a joy to behold? not in my mind. haters begone!

I have the Inferno release by Arrow, granted it seems Blue Underground's version has better colouring and judging by some folks opinions, sound too. Nothing major difference wise and I'll stick to my Arrow edition for now.

Better to focus all your attention on trying to get Dellamorte Dellmore, La Setta, La Chiesa, Stagefright.....and The Video Dead.
